Background
About Jordan Wooler
I am a mathematics teacher, leader, and Teach First Ambassador with over a decade of experience in schools in the UK and Germany. I have an established record of excellent student results across GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and IBDP curricula. I am motivated to embed mathematical confidence, fluency and curiosity in my students, and believe in research driven practice, with interests in cognitive load theory, modelling, direct instruction, and diagnostic questions. I have experience in both subject and pastoral leadership, and in promoting effective teaching and learning pedagogies, having planned and delivered professional development sessions within my department, to colleagues in other departments across the school, and to other schools, as well as offering my expertise to support other schools on a consultancy basis. I am passionate about social justice and educational equality.
