About Jordon Jones
I have two passions in my life: writing and theatre. I'm also very fond of cats, but that's a bit beside the point. I am pursuing careers that feed into my love of words, while exploring my theatrical skills through involvement with local community theatre. One day I might even be able to forge a career that combines the two! My main employment is with Streamliners, a major Christchurch technical writing company that works with a wide range of content. Additionally, I also take on occasional contract jobs as a freelance proofreader and editor through Jojo's Red Pen. The theatre company I have the strongest ties to is the Canterbury Repertory Theatre Society. I have been a part of a number of their shows since 2011, and spent 4 1/2 years serving on their committee in the role of Secretary. I've been taking a break from my Repertory duties for a couple of years to complete a Master of Writing at the University of Canterbury. Now that I have finished it, I expect it won't be long before I start haunting the rehearsal rooms again!
