Harper Adams University Graduate with a 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Agriculture with Farm Business Management. Brief outline of recent work experiences, achievements and awards: November 2019-Present - Currently employed with Agricola Growers ltd as a graduate trainee which involves all aspects of farming from practical tasks to supervising casual staff on various jobs such as flower picking Family farm which is 250 acre beef, arable and fresh produce. Involved with the physical and financial management decisions on the farm and general day to day running. 2017/2018 - One-year placement taken place on a 212 hectare, fully irrigated cropping and fodder production farm in the Canterbury Plains, South Island of New Zealand. Gained experience in crop management with a variety of crops grown for seed, milling and livestock feed production. 1800 dairy cows were also out-wintered on fodder beet allowing me to gain knowledge of animal husbandry, feed budgeting and efficient grazing strategies. June/September 2016 - Full time farm assistant during the summer of 2016 on the second oldest Aberdeen Angus herd in England, with 600 acres of mixed arable land. Daily responsibilities included handling, feeding and observing the health and welfare of cattle. Other responsibilities during harvest included corn carting, combine driving and cultivating 400 acres through a minimum tillage operation. 2019: Finalist at the IAgrM Farm Planner Competition 2019: Telescopic forklift handling course 2017: PA2 – Pesticide application 2016: PA1 – safe use of pesticides 2015: Basic first aid training 2014: Full, clean British driving license
