About Jorell Dye

From a very young age, I was compelled by curiousity. At 3 years old I watched my mother cook, and on a later day without her knowing, I staggered the kitchen drawers to employ them as stairs, gathered potatoes and eggs, grated the potatoes and removed the starch, and fried both to feed my little brother and I. As I grew older, my appetite for understanding never left. In school I taught myself math ahead of the pace of the rest of the class, and then entertained myself by drawing pictures. AP Physics in highschool was so easy for me that I did not do a single homework assignment, and yet scored a 5 on the AP test. I scored 600/600 on the CA standardized Physics exam and garnered a first place team victory in the College Math Day competition in Chico CA. Today I enjoy reading about electronic hardware and building computers to sell online, and reading books about morality, spirituality, and what I consider to be truth. God himself has taught me about right and wrong, and he has been my father in the absence of a human father. Solar Energy eventually caught my attention as a field of interest for me, and I consider myself a soldier for the cause of changing the way the world is powered. My hope is that my very vivid visual imagination will be used to benefit the lives of others, and I long to work in a field in which I can develop solutions which tangibly benefit human life or experience.
