About Jorge al Gindi

To be an engineer and a violinist at the same time has not been the easiest decision I have embarked but my story is based on few words – passion, enthusiasm, commitment, positivism, hard work and ambition. Nowadays, I am an experienced Civil Engineer and Project Manager, and on my spare time a Violin Teacher. I call myself as an engineer by profession and a violinist at heart. I am a strong believer that together we are stronger and capable to improve the lives of people around the world. Working hard and believing in ourselves with humility are key aspects to live a life of use to others. As an engineer and project manager, I am constantly learning, focusing on making high quality decision and staying calm when adversity comes in my way. I am passionately engaged in solving problems and enjoying team interactions to support each other. During my work experience, I have had the opportunity to design, calculate, draw, verify, supervise and manage structural, civil and rail projects. My work has led me to conduct site visits, and experience the delivery phases of civil, structural and rail projects on public and private sectors. I am highly motivated to drive changes, experiment and commit to achieve the desired result. Furthermore, I exhibit a strong eye for details when it comes to project documentation, reporting, design and reviewing drawings. On the other hand, as a violinist, I had the magnificent opportunity to travel around Germany, Austria, Holland, Spain, England, Liechtenstein, France, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Turkey, Italy, China and Japan representing and performing with the professional Teresa Carreño Orchestra. Moreover, my experience has taken me to perform and receive master classes with well-known musicians worldwide. One of the most important lessons learnt during my career is to believe, face and accept the day you have been given, and make the best out of it. “Who stands with determination, will go to bed with satisfaction”.
