Technical manager and owner of TecnoVeritas - Services of Engineering & Systems Technology Ltd, since December 1994, and also lecturer of Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture at various Universities and Institutes in Portugal, UK and Singapore. Visiting lecturer World Maritime University Malmo (Sweeden). Lecturer ENIDH Portugese Nautical College Marine Engineering Course. The mottos of my life:"We all know more than me!";"Laborando Vincis","A problem is always an opportunity to do my best","Teach for free what I have learned, is a way to live for ever" As Technical Manager of the company I am supervising all the engineering activities research and development as well as of the services of engineering offered to the market. Regarding the engineering activity I am deeply involved on the R&D projects, hydrogen, energy, marine propulsion an emissions developed. I have also a strong activity in innovation and representing the company in Conferences, Symposiums and other research events for example presenting results of scientific experiments and scientific papers. I am also responsible for carrying out, or supervising other engineering consultancy work such as: machinery damage surveys, damage investigations, forensic engineering, expert witnessing, court expert opinions, plant machinery inspections and audits, energy audits, to plants and cogeneration plants, implementing condition based programs and reports, stress measurements, shaft power measurements, torsional vibration measurements, alignments of machinery, energy and mass balances on board and ashore, energy audits, surveys in accordance to IMO- MARPOL VI MEPC circulars, SEEMP, underground natural gas storage, natural gas compression plants, design of dual fuel systems, safety assessments. R&D and respective production of prototypes and their implementation at the industry.
