About Jorge Arraya

As the former Country Manager for Argentina and Peru at Tullow Oil, I oversaw the upstream operations and business development activities in these two strategic markets. With over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, I worked through the entire value chain, from opportunity evaluation to decommissioning, in various countries and regions. Previous to that, I was the Supply Chain Manager for Exploration, where I led a team that delivered successful exploration projects in various remote locations across Africa and South America. I have a proven track record of building and leading highly effective, multi-cultural teams in multiple locations, delivering results and value for the company and its stakeholders. I have a deep understanding of all sectors of the industry and vast experience in contracting and negotiating for very large and complex activities. I am passionate about empowering people and coaching them to their maximum potential, while ensuring a safe, ethical, and sustainable work environment.
