Background

About Jorge Bogas

In recent years I have made a career in telecommunications. Within this area, I would like to highlight intervention in: Installation and maintenance of CPE´s, Cisco, Draytek, Teldat, Huawei and others; enterprise networks with Cisco and Huawei switching solutions mostly; installation of Wifi solutions with Cisco, Meraki and Ruckus platforms especially in large companies and events; installation of Voip solutions using Cisco based platform, and several brands of equipment’s. More recently, the implementation of VAR Technology for the Portuguese Football Federation, it was a great challenge where i did gain experience with broadcast technologies. In the previous two years, I have also gained experience in mobile network transmission technologies, Ericsson and Huawei, most recently with the installation/preparation of the next generation 5G network. However, I have always been interested in furthering my knowledge on my training: support and installation of enterprise networks and administration of Windows and Linux servers systems, still able to implement services like AD, Exchange Server, SQL Server, SCML server and VM´s solutions. I recently decided to dedicate myself to learning programming languages, currently attending small training courses.
