About Jorge Carrillo

I am a self-driven Technology Leader with extensive experience designing and developing EDA software tools for Embedded and Data Center applications from early product incubation to release and evangelization. My passion is solving problems related to accelerating computation with heterogeneous devices, including FPGAs and GPUs. I am proven innovator and have been awarded 15 US patents and multiple innovation awards. I enjoy and have a proven track record of successfully leading and collaborating on cross-functional teams, determining and prioritizing product requirements with high attention to detail, completing critical milestones to meet customer needs and improving team productivity. I have been recognized for helping early adopting customers be successful using our products. I am also a proficient developer and architect recognized for writing clean, maintainable, test-driven and scalable code. I am highly adaptable, accustomed to work in a startup-like fast-paced environment with limited resources, a determined team player and out-of-the-box thinker. Outside work, I have learned to program in CUDA, Python and PHP by either taking on-line courses or doing side projects.
