About Jorge Conde

13 years of experience in the Canary Islands (Europe), planning and designing, management and project construction management. Also 3 years working in Massachusetts (USA), in renewable energy companies, “Associated Energy Developers” and “Vivint Solar Inc”. I collate my academic studies with dedication to the sport of sailing; I was a sailor and I worked as a national coach. After this a firm of engineering hired me, this firm has a great prestige in the Canaries. As a student, and during my first steps on the field, I dreamed on creating my own office. This was materialized in 2004 when, with two colleagues, we created “Grupo CTL Ingeniería Canarias S.L.”. Today it is one of the engineering firms of recognized prestige, in the Canaries. After the good results we decided to create two installation companies, one dedicated to photovoltaic installations and solar thermal, and the other focused in electrical installation, ventilation and air conditioning. In 2008 we decided to sold the company “ASE Renovables S.L.”, and stay with the engineering firm, “Group CTL” and “Archipélago Soluciones Energéticas”. The three companies have successfully survived to the latest European economical crisis, being threes solid companies. In this third phase of my working life, I was given the chance to come to the US with my wife, who was offered a two years of very exciting work. I remain shareholder of both companies at the Canaries, but I thought I should not miss this opportunity, that could be very rewarding. And here I am, in a new adventure. Demonstrated capacity to create, train and lead teams that suit corporate requirements and strategy. With experience managing high-pressure deadlines and deliverables among multiple geographically disperse teams. High standard design, technical and project management skills to undertake challenging corporate strategies.
