About Jorge Costa

Passionate about mobile development and currently based in The Netherlands, I’ve been working as a mobile developer and leading high-performance dev teams for over 11 years. From internal projects to freelance work and personal apps, I’ve had the opportunity to create innovative solutions that make a difference across diverse industries, including gaming, banking, insurance, sports, telecom, aviation, and government. Currently, I'm particularly enthusiastic about Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) development and Compose Multiplatform to boost team performance, enabling teams to build scalable, cross-platform apps more efficiently by keeping parity. When I’m not immersed in coding, you’ll likely find me exploring the world on a bicycle or backpacking. I believe that this is the best way to discover new places, connect with people, and embrace diverse cultures. My travels have taken me to incredible destinations like Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Armenia, Spain, Georgia, and beyond. I'm also deeply interested in the electric vehicle revolution and the transition to sustainable transportation.
