Background

About Jorge Hoad

Experienced operations and logistics professional with a strong track record in agricultural services, transport coordination, and team leadership. I currently serve as Regional Operational Supervisor at FGS Agri, where I manage regional waste spreading operations and lead teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant services. My career began as an Operator at FGS Agri and developed through progressive roles at FGS Organics, where I spent nearly two years supporting and coordinating large-scale agricultural and transport operations, including Artic and Tipper lorries, tractors, spreaders, and other machinery. I played a key role in resource planning, health and safety compliance, and the day-to-day execution of complex logistical tasks. At FGS Pilcher, I assisted with operations in both agricultural and renewable energy sectors, contributing to effective team coordination and project delivery. Earlier, as a Territory Sales Manager at Crawfords, I focused on selling premium agricultural machinery, including Fendt and Valtra tractors, developing customer relationships and identifying tailored solutions. I hold a BSc in Business Studies from Canterbury Christ Church University, alongside certifications in health and safety (IOSH) and transport compliance (OLAT). I’m passionate about improving operational systems, supporting sustainable land management, and driving performance through practical leadership.
