About Jorge Paredes

With a solid business background, I’ve followed a professional path that began as a field salesperson and gradually evolved into senior and strategic leadership roles with international scope. Over the years, my curiosity has led me to explore unconventional paths, engaging in activities that have given me unique tools: I’ve been a rock band manager, furniture factory owner, country manager for a Chinese company, storyteller, and founder of a digital publishing house specializing in artificial intelligence, among other adventures. These experiences have allowed me to connect and interact with hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds, ways of thinking, and life approaches—deeply enriching how I view business, relationships, and personal and professional challenges. I channel much of that learning into the books I write, the talks I give regularly, the mentorships I offer, and very tangibly in my daily interactions with clients and teams. In addition to my most significant source of inspiration—my family—I currently serve as a senior leader in an international company, executive consultant, pro bono mentor for startups, and author of publications focused on personal development and leadership. I’m passionate about business and, above all, about people. I strongly believe in approaching challenges with optimism by clearly identifying the gap between the current state and the desired goal and then working to close it by maximizing everyone’s potential. I enjoy creating environments where people feel part of a shared purpose, empower one another, and move forward together toward meaningful achievements.
