About Jorge Paz

I’m a Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in full stack application development. I enjoy coding a lot thus I always find myself learning about new technologies and cool stuff. While I like coding in general I have a special liking towards the UI and graphic part of software, i.e. frontend, webGL and 3D. This has led me to experiment with tools such as React, Angular, Solid, Blender, Unity3D and ThreeJS. I'm currently working at KDU as frontend developer consultant for Transbank. Transbank is the major payment platform in my country Chile, so it has been truly challenging and interesting from a engineering perspective. Throughout my professional career I've been able to work mainly with technologies such as Angular, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL, however I think it is important to know the fundamentals so switching between different technologies isn't hard for me. As of now I'm working on my portfolio and learning more of WebGL, and at the same time I'm building an e-commerce site for my sister's business.
