About Jorge Riquelme

For more than 25 years, I have led the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy investments, helping transform ambitious development opportunities into world-class operating assets. Throughout my career, I have progressively evolved from engineering and construction management into executive leadership, combining strategic project delivery, corporate management and board governance across complex organizations. Today I serve as Project Director for Enel Green Power in Chile, where I lead one of the country's largest renewable generation and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) investment portfolios. In parallel, I serve as General Manager of Geotérmica del Norte S.A. and as a Board Member of Geotérmica del Norte and Energía Marina. Over the past two decades I have directed multidisciplinary teams across Chile, Brazil, Peru and Colombia, delivering multi-billion-dollar capital investment programs covering utility-scale solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric and battery storage projects. My expertise spans the entire capital project lifecycle—from investment planning and engineering through procurement strategy, construction, commissioning and operational readiness—with a consistent focus on safety, governance, financial discipline and long-term value creation. Beyond project execution, I am passionate about building high-performing organizations, developing future leaders and creating collaborative environments where people consistently deliver exceptional results. I believe the energy transition is fundamentally an execution challenge. Success depends not only on technology, but also on disciplined leadership, trusted partnerships and organizations capable of delivering complex infrastructure safely, efficiently and sustainably.
