About Jorge Sulca

My professional goal is to obtain a position where I can use my organizational skills, educational background, and my 30+ years of management experience to integrate strategies and develop a world class maintenance organization aligned with the vision of the company. I am a mechanical Engineer with a master of business administration. I possess a diverse background in the Mining and Milling industry obtained through my managerial overseas experience. I started as a Mechanical Engineer intern at Cobriza mine in Peru where I learned the technical, hands-on skills required for maintenance operations. I worked my way through the managerial ladder and left Peru as the Co-Manager of Cobriza mine to become a Maintenance Superintendent for Doe Run in the US. Some notable skills I had to learn in order to excel was working with lean process systems, behavior based safety, and management & department restructuring.
