20+ years of experience designing and implementing data telecommunication systems, after a brief experience at Oilfield Services. System Design Engineer/Architect at different telecommunication products, supporting different network equipment, applications and technologies, designing and implementing solutions for the different components while still assuring a global end-to-end integrated solution for the products’ success, requiring constant interaction and negotiation with the different stakeholders (e.g, product management, program management, developing and testing teams, other system engineers, customer support teams and sometimes even customer) in order to come out with compromise solutions satisfying the different goals and needs of the different stakeholders. The tasks included- Implementation of new or enhanced functionalities into Network Management System applications - Integration support of new and/or enhanced optical transport network equipment and their functionalities into the Network Management System application- Assure full fault, configuration, accounting/administration, performance, security support- Assure end-to-end Connectivity Discovery and Configuration support- South Bound Interface support to other application and North Bound Interface to interface with customer applications- Features Analysis and their break down into different Requirements and their Specifications- Requirement Solution Description/Specification- Constant learning of new technologies and implementation specifics (e.g, interfaces and behaviour) of the different network equipment and network management applications. Passionate for new challenges and new technologies (e.g. Wireless Networks, Internet of Things FW, HW and Analytics) and getting projects done. Enjoys teamwork, learns fast and independently.
