About Jorian Dik

My name is Jorian Dik, I am 19 years old and currently living in Leeuwarden, where I study Hotel Management at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences. I grew up in Eemsdelta (Groningen), where I obtained my Senior General Secondary Education diploma. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience in both hospitality and retail. At present, I work at Jumbo Supermarkten (Cambuurplein, Leeuwarden) in a leading cashier role. Previously, I worked for over a year in a restaurant as both an assistant cook and waiter—roles that strengthened my leadership, service-oriented mindset, and social skills. In addition, I am actively involved in volunteer work at a youth organization. Helping others and creating positive experiences are what motivate me most. After completing my degree, I aspire to build a career in event management, combining my organizational skills with my passion for creating memorable experiences.
