I finished my education in July of 2009. After I did some applications I was hired by Oldenburger|Fritom in Veendam, The Netherlands. I started there as a Trainee. At first I started at the dedicated customers department. I managed the order entry, the invoices of transportcompanies and I was involved with national and international transport relations regarding the dedicated transports. in April 2010 I started on the forwarding department. The main task for me is selling our overcapacity of freights on the transporting market. Very importantent for this job is that you need to have a large network of partners. After some time I had this large network. Now I had the possibility to set up long time partnerships for regular lanes, have very good partners for urgent shipments and a very good balance between costs and benifits. From March 2012 I started as Logistic support. Core business is arranging and monitoring all shipments that we handle for some of our biggest customers. In February 2015 a new Customer has been added to my account. In June 2016 I started as Supervisor Warehouse. Managing our customers on inbound, outbound and warehousing are my main tasks as well managing staff on the floor and office. From January 2017 I started at Forbo Novilon B.v. in Coevorden. Forbo Novilon B.v. is part of Forbo Flooringsystems. Forbo Novilon B.v produces high end Vinyl and PVC floors for world wide distribution. The main focus is on project markets. Im Responsible for 3 departments. The warehousing and shipping department, the raw material department and the inspection table. Basically everything that has to do with logistics. Main tasks are managing daily operations, planning staff for mid-long term, leading projects within 1 of my departments or be part of projectgroups. My main focus is always on how to do things better and learing from our mistakes. Better can mean faster, cleaner, cheaper, more organized etc. Continious improvement is key in every organization in my opinion. Since july 2022 I started as sales support manager at Forbo Novilon B.v. Together with my sales support team we are aiming to support our salesorganizations all over the world in the best possible way. We support with questions about leadtimes, stocklevels, transportation methods, planning etc. This all in order to send the best items to our customers under the best conditions.
