About Jose Calm

Hello, I'm Jose, a seasoned Senior Graphic, Product, and Brand Designer with a rich background spanning over 15 years. My journey includes crafting the identity of First Quadrant, LLC (FQ), a global financial firm, and shaping startups from inception to execution, utilizing diverse design disciplines and a deep understanding of the creative process. In my recent role as Marketing Associate Director at FQ, I spearheaded an initiative that propelled the firm's thought leadership by creating and implementing a dynamic company blog page. Collaborating with a digital consulting firm and internal teams, I ensured seamless project delivery, resolved development issues, and maintained alignment with grinding guidelines. My knack for creative and art direction contributed to a well-received page design, resonating both within the firm and with external clients. I established a user-friendly blog posting process, fostering consistency and accuracy for the marketing team. Overseeing the email and social media marketing campaign for the blog launch significantly increased subscriptions and LinkedIn followers. This experience seamlessly evolved my graphic and brand design skills into the realm of product development. Currently, I am seeking a full-time hybrid or remote role within an established creative team. My passion lies in elevating existing brands or shaping new ones from their early stages, contributing to innovation, and consistently delivering impactful innovative results.
