About Jose Membreno

I’ve built my career around fixing messy, inefficient systems and turning them into clean, reliable, repeatable workflows. I started in IT operations, where I became the person people called when something broke and nobody could explain why, and over time I leaned hard into automation—PowerShell, Bash, C, anything that let me replace manual routines with deterministic, modular solutions. Troubleshooting became a craft for me: mapping symptoms to root causes, benchmarking interventions, and documenting everything so the next person didn’t have to guess. Along the way, I learned how to communicate across teams and translate technical work into real business impact, which pushed me toward more strategic, security‑aligned roles. Today, I’m focused on becoming the kind of engineer who can bridge automation and security, building tools and workflows that make organizations safer, faster, and more efficient, and every step of my career so far has been building toward that.
