I am a fluently bilingual communications, outreach, engagement and public events specialist with over 23 years of experience in the public service of Canada. I have spent most of my career managing strategic communications and doing issues management. I am currently responsible for engagement and outreach initiatives for Library and Archives Canada. I aim to support my organization in making its programs and collections accessible to all Canadians in creative and dynamic ways. I am also an experienced Voice over Talent and Podcast Host of "Discover Library and Archives Canada". As a manager, I adopt a coaching approach as my leadership style. I work hard to create a positive transparent work environment and to develop employees for their current and next roles. I work in collaboration with others and leverage their strengths to achieve the organization’s objectives and answer its clients’ needs. In strategic planning and problem solving, I apply a logical and level-headed approach with a focus on the solution. Whether through managing teams, strategic planning, or fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment, I am dedicated to supporting both my organization and its clients in meaningful ways. My work as a Voice over Talent and Podcast Host further highlights my ability to engage and connect with a broad audience. Ultimately, I strive to contribute to the organization's success by leveraging creativity, teamwork, and a solution-oriented mindset.
