About Joseph Adams

While in school full time, I am currently a server at a local Applebee’s and have maintained a position there for over half a decade. I started as a host and worked my way to Carside, and up to serving, including some bar experience. Through this time I have also been in charge of training multiple staff members throughout all of these positions. I have a vast amount of knowledge on how to communicate and deal with just about every type of person. Through this job I have also learned how to work as a team with other staff members and support the company as a whole, rather than only focusing on individualistic priorities. The job requires staff members to keep composure under fast-paced and stressful situations, so being patient and having strong self-control are qualities I have developed over the years. Aside from my work experience, my school experience over the years has generated a strong technical base. I have used many programs, such as, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, while also having much experience creating presentations and enriching the knowledge of others. On top of program experience, I have knowledge on computer security and virus protection/removal, which is vital in today’s business world.
