About Joseph Agius

Through my career I had the opportunity to work in a number of leading companies in Malta, namely Benna, Wasteserv, Enemalta, Maltacom and Foundation for Medical Studies. Over this period I lead a number of high level projects. At Malta Dairy Products (Benna) I introduced various innovative technologies by rolling high quality automation projects, introducing energy saving technologies and improving maintenance schedules and techniques. I installed highly efficient refrigeration control technologies that meet the highest levels of today. Today I pride myself of being a catalyst in reducing carbon emissions by introducing efficient technologies with a short payback period. I have over 25 years experience in team building and training and upgrading the skills and knowledge of the technical personnel. I have honed my techniques in management and possess a Master from the University of Malta in Knowledge-based Entrepreneurship. Recently I have successfully completed my Master in Sustainable Energy submitting a dissertation on the ability to acchieve higher efficiency in both electrical and fuel consumption. Throughout my career I worked in tandem with a number of leading foreign companies, in particular German, Italian, British and Austrian firms. This has broaden my horizon and helped me being abreast with the latest and most economically viable solutions available on the market.
