Professional experience - Currently responsible for all aspects of development for compliance examiners across the country. I lead a team that leverages multiple external resources, and creates and delivers training internally, to support the entire lifecycle for hundreds of examiners.* This includes commissioning but also many other training and professional development efforts.* Enjoyed the opportunity to build a team, and national program, from the ground up, within the Federal government- Teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels. Developed and delivered courses in leadership, management, Joint operations, USMC doctrine, amphibious operations, irregular warfare, counterinsurgency, Marine Corps Planning Process, culture, and operational art.* I focus on leadership, employee engagement, and working in situations with limited authority across organizations.* Specifically, rewrote NROTC Leadership and Management curriculum for use across 158 universities in 2011.* Developed and delivered negotiation and cross-cultural negotiation courses and exercises at USMC Command and Staff College, and Marine Corps War College.* Provided instruction for Bahrain's initial Command and Staff College class in Manama. Non-education experience - Requirements and budgets (requirement decisions and budget for operations, maintenance, and modernization for 38 ships -$6B across FYDP)- Management of up to 600+ personnel on ships and overseas shore duty- Amphibious planning and surface warfare. Specialties: Accomplished leader in ambiguous environments. Comfortable in technical environments - Chief Information Officer, Information Assistance, and Designated Approval Authority certifications from IRMC. Wrote a classified concept of operations for high bandwidth communications to deployed ships which was fielded in the mid-1990s and made items like imagery available for the first time without transfer of hard copy materials.
