I have been in nursing for more than 25 years at a level 1 trauma center in adult patient care areas related to neurosurgery, neurology, urology, orthopedics, and internal medicine. I have worked in an operating room for more than 14 years in a small rural hospital. I have eagerly embraced my transition to advance practice nursing while caring for pediatric populations in the same rural community I have lived in for more than 15 years.
