Summarizing my career is complex. I started my adult career at an AmericInn as a Part Time Night Auditor back in 2009, and have worked my way through the industry. I've experienced limited service and full service hotels, as well as branded and boutique hotels. My work has been consistently recognized whether it's as an employee of the month, or as a Diamond Service Award nominee. While in hotels my ultimate goal was to be either a task force manager, an operations manager, or a QA inspector, until I stopped working in the hospitality industry in 2023 to follow my passion with working with the community. In 2008 I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Women's Studies and Ethnic Studies with a focus on gender. I look forward to applying my college degree into building a career and taking my hotel beliefs about culture and community and applying them to my professional life in human services, where I can grow, while supporting others, and uplifting the voices of other marginalized people.
