About Joseph Banks

In 2018, I enlisted in the United States Navy, serving as an Aviation Structural Mechanic. During my four years of active duty, I performed critical maintenance on E-6B aircraft, enhanced shop qualifications, and contributed to achieving a commendable 85% mission capable rate for my command. My dedication and attention to detail earned me the “Mechanic of the Year” award in 2018. I hold an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification, which reflects my technical proficiency and authorization to inspect, maintain, and sign off on a wide range of aircraft and powerplant systems. This certification enhances my ability to work independently and take on leadership roles in both civilian and military aviation environments. Previously, I worked as an Aircraft Mechanic at V2X, where I performed maintenance on both C-38A and P-8A aircraft. My role involved conducting inspections, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring compliance with strict aviation safety standards across various systems, including engines and hydraulics. Currently, I work as a Structure Assembly Technician at PBS Aerospace, where I continue to specialize in maintaining and repairing a variety of aircraft systems. I take pride in my ability to prioritize workload, lead and supervise maintenance efforts, and solve moderate to complex problems through technical documentation and hands-on expertise. My career is driven by a passion for aviation, a commitment to excellence, and a continuous pursuit of knowledge. I’m currently based in Dallas, GA, and open to connecting with professionals in the aviation and aerospace industries. Let’s connect and explore how my background can add value to your team or project.
