About Joseph Beck

I am here to put myself to work with our global transition to renewable energy, and the transition to urban infrastructure that welcomes community-building and fosters friendship. My professional career has gradually become focused in structural assessment, and construction design, particularly in the solar construction industry. Over the past five years I have been proudly building a career as a solar designer, focusing in mechanical and electrical design work, as well as client communication and project management. I am currently involved in residential and commercial solar design, looking to increase my knowledge and experience in the vast field of commercial solar design, as well as ethical urban planning. I have an educational background in Spanish with a cultural studies focus, as well as Environment Studies with a specialization in Geographic Information Systems. Academic research areas included environmental planning, public health, safety, risk, conservation and sustainability related research. An extensive knowledge of cartography, data management, as well as various ESRI programs are other unique skills that I provide.
