About Joseph Bridget Karanja

I am a Kenyan citizen with over 10 years experience in the IT industry, i hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) 2013, a Diploma in Information Technology (IT) from JKUAT (2010), Oracle certification from Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT) a trained Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) at IAT and pursuing masters at university of Nairobi. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in Information systems technology under banking, health and education sectors. Currently I am working for co-operative bank of Kenya as a database administrator previously I was at Athi River Shalom Community Hospital where I headed the ICT Department and oversaw the development of hospital systems, installation of applications to the server and MPLS infrastructure under my supervision, perform Hardware and Software maintenance for 154 computers and 576 users, train and execute new security updates on the MPLS, Servers, Firewall, Corporate antivirus and integrated total health care system. before that I worked at PC Kinyanjui Technical Training College as a trainer in the ICT Department on Quick-books, MIS, HTML, SQL and HTML. I also worked for them as their computer technician, training other staff on new systems and recommending upgrades to the existing ICT infrastructure. I was a member of the key strategic team for shalom group of hospitals.
