About Joseph Carangelo

Strategy and Innovation Enabler Reflecting on my career I have concluded that I have added value most when my organizations needed to enable a vision of a novel growth trajectory. Whether it was the genesis of Oncology at Gen-Probe, Precision Medicine at USLabs, the strategic transformation of Baker Home Energy, or the ideation of Mobile Health at Apria or Great Call, I was often chartered with leading the strategic process toward that goal. Aligning closely with executives I developed cross-functional teams to define and develop the goals and objectives of those strategic initiatives. Expert in Strategy Development as well as Market and Financial Modeling, I have also done my share of Business Development deals, Strategic Planning, Market Research, and Alliance Management. Passions include Precision Medicine and Oncology Diagnostics. The reason is simple.it is personal as both parents received the diagnosis, one being taken within three years and the other a 30 plus year survivor. I strongly believe Cancer can become a chronic but manageable disease, similar to what HIV has become today. And I believe it can happen in time for the very next generation.
