About Joseph Cassa

As the Director of Process Improvement and Labor Management Partnership (LMP) at Kaiser Permanente Colorado, I have over 13 years of experience in leading continuous performance improvement and operational excellence initiatives that support over employees and physicians in delivering high-quality and cost-effective care to our patients. I am a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Program/Project Management Professional with extensive expertise in applying various improvement methodologies and tools across different functional areas and levels of the organization. My core competencies include program management, high performing teams, labor relations, quality management, business development, coaching, mentoring, and change management. I am passionate about fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and learning among our diverse and talented workforce. Through the LMP program, I enable over 280 front-line teams to work together to achieve measurable and sustainable results in service, quality, and cost outcomes. I also train, coach, and mentor employees and executives in performance improvement and labor partnership skills and practices. My mission is to empower our teams to deliver exceptional value to our patients and partners.
