About Joseph Castle

I am passionate about history and enjoy researching and writing academic papers and producing more creative blog posts on history and literature. In my degree I have used critical thinking to assess a variety of secondary and primary sources to answer questions on what the past was like and why things happened the way they did. I am always keen to communicate my ideas through presentations and written work. My dissertation research included archive material from the Netherlands and the British Library archive focusing on the East India Trading Company. I am gifted in interpersonal skills, being supportive to others as part of a team. In my 10 years of customer service, I have developed a wide range of abilities in being attentive to customer needs and showing thoughtful attention in interactions. I have learnt how to stay calm and finish tasks in high pressure environments.
