About Joseph Conroy

I have worked in the field service industry for 35+ years, servicing everything from computer systems, nuclear dosimetry and instrument repair and calibration, paper process control systems, complex electrophotographic printing systems, and most recently complex medical diagnostics equipment. My experience has involved electrical, electronics, mechanical systems, heating and cooling for electronics (peltiers and chillers), optics, and pneumatics / hydraulics. My recent instrumentation experience involves Sysmex Coagulation and Urine cell count instruments, Behring Coagulation, Syva Drugs of Abuse testing, Siemens Urine, Microbiology, Blood Gas, and Dimension chemistry instruments. In the past I have also worked on many other systems as well as Omnicell systems. Taking care of my customers is the most important part of my job. I am flexible to be able to meet their needs and try to make sure they are happy before I leave the site. I have been exposed to many software programs including the Microsoft Office Suite, and many job specific programs related to parts searching and ordering, expense reporting, call reporting and compliance (mButler, SAP 40, Pace forms, and others). Over the years I have completed many online trainings having to do with virtual equipment training, job safety, driving safety, HIPPA compliance, Lock Out Tag Out, Blood borne pathogens, FDA compliance trainings, Emergency management and planning, and shipping hazardous materials. My trainings were always completed on time and in accordance with company policy. I believe in attention to the details even in the small stuff. Well maintained and clean equipment looks better, works better, and is both easier and safer to work on for everyone. Over the years I have consistently maintained one of the lowest overtime rates in my service area, as well as the lowest parts stock inventory. Monthly paperwork (expenses and Amex bill) are completed on time and my company car is clean and well maintained. I am currently looking for a position preferably in the field service industry where I can put my extensive skills to use.
