I am an experienced, Board Certified (ABEM) Emergency Medicine physician. I am currently licensed to practice in Texas, New York, and Florida. I have extensive experience working in both "Free Standing"/ Micro-hospital emergency departments, as well as working in higher acuity/ volume tertiary hospital emergency departments. I have experience working in high-volume urban urgent care centers. I have also been Medical Director (civilian contractor) for the US Army Virtual Integrated Readiness and Remote (VIPRR) Tele-medicine/medical readiness assessment clinic JBSA-Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. I am experienced and proficient in providing medical care, especially emergency and urgent care, to patients of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. After identifying and stabilizing the patient's emergent medical condition, I am also well versed and experienced in developing and coordinating the execution of an appropriate follow-on treatment plan. Prior to embarking on my Emergency Medicine career, I provided primary and urgent care for both Active Duty and dependent family members as well as retirees (patients from newborn to geriatric) as a US Army Medical Corps Officer. I was also the Officer in Charge of departments of pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology, as well as coordinator for clinic Clinical Practice Guidelines and Exceptional Family Member programs.
