About Joseph Cranford

I am the Co-Owner and C.E.O. of one of Chicago's newest nightlife destinations, the Chicago Magic Lounge. We have won a "Chicago's Best" award of 2018, and are currently in the top 5 of Nightlife in Chicago and Theaters in Chicago on TripAdvisor.com. Our mission is to recall Chicago's contributions to the magical arts, re-invent the classic magic bar, and restore Chicago's long history of having one of the largest communities of working magicians. I was most recently the former Head of Sales at Big Bus Tours Chicago during their first few years, and was responsible for launching a global brand in the local tourism market. My focus was on creating partnerships, products, and promos to offer alongside the core product of Big Bus's hop-on hop-off tours. I was previously the head concierge at the historic, Whitehall Hotel. Before that I was concierge at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Chicago. Before becoming a concierge, I was Marketing Coordinator for another hop-on hop off company, Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Co. This all lead out of my passion of Chicago history and my career as a tour guide in Chicago for almost a decade. Outside of my day jobs. I have been an actor most of my life, and currently a member of SAG with a fun list of credentials. Look me up on IMDB!
