Dr. Joseph Daniel-Hoste started his career as a professional musician and academic, working in the arts and educational sectors. He has performed with major orchestras, been a musical director for many theatrical productions, composed original music on commission, and taught on college music faculties. These experiences fueled his interest in leadership and institutional growth, leading to a career shift into non-profit administration. Realizing his passion for leadership, Joseph — already the holder of a doctorate in music — earned a master's degree in organizational leadership from the College of St. Mary, and began expanding his professional footprint. Today, he serves as the operations director at Crossroads of Michigan, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting poverty and providing human-centered services to underserved individuals, with a stronghold in urban Detroit. Joseph is comfortable both on the ground floor and in the board room, employing a hands-on approach to leadership. He has a talent for creating processes and systems, as well as building team ownership of an organizational mission and vision?
