Dr Joseph Dodds, PhD is a Psychoanalyst in private practice with the Czech Psychoanalytical Society (International Psychoanalytical Association), a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) of the British Psychological Society, a Registered Clinical Psychotherapist (UKCP, SSPP, CAP), and a Chartered Scientist (CSci) with the Science Council, UK. He is a senior lecturer in psychoanalysis and psychology at the Anglo-American University, a psychology lecturer at the University of New York in Prague/Empire State College and on the Advisory Group for the Climate Psychology Alliance (CPA). Originating from London, he has lived and worked primarily in Prague since and is the author of the book 'Psychoanalysis and Ecology at the Edge of Chaos: Complexity theory, Deleuze|Guattari and psychoanalysis for a climate in crisis'(Dodds 2011, Routledge, http://ecopsychoanalysis.blogspot.cz/p/blog-page.html ) and numerous other articles and book chapters on psychoanalytic applications to neuroscience, culture, society, art, and ecology. He runs the 'Ecopsychoanalysis' and 'Neuropsychoanalysis' facebook groups. Currently, the centre of his research is on the affective, unconscious, aesthetic, and psycho-social dynamics of climate change.
