About Joseph Farhat

Having experienced the finance industry in 2005, firstly through an administration role in a wealth management firm - it exposed me to various models of finance, accounting, financial planning and mortgage broking. While supporting all three divisions through administrative support it gave me an insight into the various roles and customer impact of each profession. From 2005 - 2017, I worked through various roles in the finance and banking sectors. Roles included, call centre support and sales, financial planning associate, advanced financial planning, Business protection specialist, home finance manager and a secondment to a fintech to enable a home lending platform. From there I went on to begin my mortgage broking adventure. My individual love for property and lending to build wealth through property. Mortgage broking has allowed me to bring together my love of property and finance to help other individuals reach their own goals. In 2021, I merged my residential mortgage broking business with one of the leading commercial broking businesses in NSW, GM Capital Solutions and opened a second office in Five Dock NSW. Now having the ability to provide my customer base with experienced and professional commercial lending brokers and like wise for their client base through my experience in residential lending.
