About Joseph Fernandes

I firmly believe in life’s thin places as situations where “we can behold God, experience the one in whom we live, all around us and in us.” The ancient Celts referred to thin places as “where heaven and earth seem very near each other.” Imagine someone out there waiting for us to live this life seeking the thin places, so they too can find God. Encounters and conversations with people you never imagined. God is that close, within arms’ reach. The Christian walk involves all these areas of life, the spiritual, the practical, and the logical. These are about our hopes, our dreams and our calling. This is at the heart of my faith, of following Christ, of being able to balance human time, kronos with God’s time, kairos. “Faith is not logical. But it isn’t illogical either. Faith is Theological. It does not ignore reality; it just adds God into the equation.” When God is in the equation, life works.
