I am a licensed, board-certified, and experienced physician - servicing medical malpractice, personal injury attorneys, and others throughout the various stages of litigation. My passion is in utilizing my years of medical education and practice along with my legal education in assisting medical malpractice and injury attorneys with the medical aspects of their cases. This often entails sifting through thousands of pages of medical records, providing a summary for the attorney. I most enjoy integrating the medical scenarios with potential legal theories and defenses, helping to create 'but for' and substantial factor causation. Frequently I review less obvious areas such as hospital policy and procedure. From this there is often found a causation nexus between the hospital and the harm. Finally, I utilize the various medical and legal devices, such as Westlaw and Lexis in performing the required medical and legal research. My field is both challenging and exciting.
