Background

About Joseph Hess

I am a young professional, beginning my career in information management. Interests include (but are certainly not limited to):*Science fiction (we get closer every day!)*Fantasy (the world is an inspiring and magical place)*Speculative Evolution (ever wondered what a flying squid would look like?)*Writing (just about anything!)*Etymology (words have all kinds of fascinating histories) My professional skills revolve around using my attention to detail for the organization and management of information and metadata. Categorization and the art of systems are great loves of mine, and I've used that love to great effect, serving creative communities, public libraries, and corporate business. Sharing knowledge is a joy to me, so collaboration is second nature. Working as part of a small team is where I shine best, advising on successful information organization and both short and long-term planning.
