Even as they become immersed in the details of ambitious process changes and complex technology modernization, I make sure they stay focused on these core questions: “Who on the ground is actually going to have to change how they do their job?” and “How do we get them ready for that?” Whether assisting NOAA in defining its space weather workforce, advising CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) personnel on implementing a new risk assessment framework, or incorporating change management into the FAA's air traffic control modernization initiatives, I consistently provide clients with pragmatic, actionable solutions. I convert models and best practices into strategies, playbooks, and artifacts that can be used for both current and future transformations.
