About Joseph John

Joseph John is a Management Consultant specializing in Organization Strategy, Human Resources Management and Leadership Mentoring. Joseph carries wide ranging experience in the fields of management and consulting for over 30 years. Since 2011 he provides consulting and advisory services in Human Resources Strategy and Organisation Development. From 1988 to 2011 Joseph held several executive positions in various businesses and at the corporate office of Wipro Limited, one of the top three Global IT Services companies in India. His last role in Wipro was as the Vice President Human Resources for India and Middle East IT Businesses. Joseph joined Wipro in 1988 from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, one of the reputed Indian Management Schools for HR professionals, where he did Masters in Management. He also holds a Masters Degree in Economics. Joseph is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from Motorola University. He also underwent Global Advanced Leadership Program conducted by McGill University, Montreal (anchored by Prof. Henry Mintzberg), and a consortium of global organizations held in Canada, UK, Singapore and India. Joseph is trained as a coach by Whitehead Mann Group of UK. Joseph has travelled on business in the US, Canada, Australia, UK, European Union nations, China, ASEAN countries, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Wipro Joseph had brief stints in Journalism and Sales. He has been a panelist and speaker in HR forums in India and Singapore and a guest lecturer in Management and Engineering Institutes. He is blogger and has written occasionally in business magazines and Newspapers. Joseph lives in Bangalore with his wife and two sons. His interests include reading, writing, art and nature.
