As a Senior Systems Architect my responsibilities include- Scrum Master for development team responsible for user interfaces, reporting, and RESTful API's for products and system components- Provide mentorship for new developers by providing high level training on products and system component. Provide on going support for developers and review the work completed to ensure the highest quality of standards are maintained and achieved- Manage the release life cycle for products by taking high level product requirements and translating those into technical specifications. The technical specifications were further broken up into several features and tasks. Features and bug fixes where then scheduled into different releases. Plan and schedule sprints to work on the features and bug fixes for each release- Design and implement proof of concepts (PoC) for multiple products. The PoC's were deployed to public cloud provides such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS, or isolated into virtual machine(s) managed under a hypervisor such as ESXi or KVM- Manage and technical support lead for PoC's deployed to customer networks globally- Provide project management for field deployments to customer networks. Prepare gantt chart to identify all the tasks for the deployment, dependencies between tasks and scheduling tasks such that they are completed within the project timeline. Presented project plans to management team and third-party system integrator- Prepare different types of documentation including tech docs (installation/quick-start guides, PoC test plans) and user manuals. Development work highlights include- design and implement auto-provisioning API's for products or used by third-party system integrators. REST API's were implemented with micro services to secure and authorize API calls over the Internet or a private network (VPN)- design and implement the Secure Home Office product which is deployed to Microsoft Azure public cloud. Product provides end points a VPN termination such that all network traffic is tunneled through the cloud deployment and a VNF provides the security services for the network traffic routed through the deployment- design and implement REST API's for multiple system components. Implement various back-end scripts that were invoked with API calls- implement rapid prototypes for user interfaces and REST API's to illustrate various work flows.
