I help businesses disrupt deep-rooted mindset. to rethink, refine and articulate the vision of their brands to chart a stronger future that resonates better with their audience. ABOUT ME A brand strategist, a creative director and an entrepreneur, I am deeply passionate about brands, communications and business with a 40-year multi-faceted career in advertising, design, technology, publishing and branding working with international and local businesses across Asia. This has cultivated in me a unique and holistic set of experiences at the intersection of community, business and sustainability. Anchored in pragmatism, responsibility and authenticity, they have helped clients to redefine their brand and business strategies for these turbulent times. I am open to engagements in an advisory capacity, a consultative position, or a longer-term role, in the areas of brand building, creative thinking and innovation. PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS In my 15 years in mainstream advertising, my creative works have won more than 120 awards in international and regional competitions. KEY ROLES I have been a senior leader with international agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, McCann Erickson, JWT, BBDO, WCRS and others, leading people and teams as Creative Director, Regional Creative Director and Creative Consultant. I have worked at Asia Connect - one of Malaysia's pioneering Internet companies - as its Senior Vice President, Creative Services and Strategic Development. I have also been a Visiting Creative Consultant to Stiftelsen 3,14, a Norwegian Art Foundation where I co-curated Norway’s participation in one of the world's largest international contemporary/product design exhibitions. As the Executive Creative Director and CEO of Chimera, I drove the strategic and creative output of the company that became one of the the leading Brand Design consultancies in Malaysia. As the Chief Operating Officer and Strategy Director of the Global Brand Forum and the Global Brand Advisory, I oversaw new business development and co-developed brand strategies for all projects.
