About Joseph Laundrie

Growing up in a small clamming town in Long Island, I have been in love with the water since a very young age. As an avid surfer, boating is yet another outlet to where I can enjoy the adventures of the ocean. After enduring many years of the cold waters in New York, I decided to journey southward to West Palm Beach, where I graduated with a dual degree in Finance and Accounting from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Throughout my University experience, I worked as the First Officer and Purser on multiple super yachts. Upon graduating, I decided to put my finance degree to work and set my first love of the sea aside for a while. Moving to Manhattan, New York and working on Wall Street for one of the world’s largest Private Wealth Management firms, Bank of America - Merrill Lynch, allowed me to experience the professional side of high finance.After a couple of years, my passion for yachts and the water outweighed my professional career in finance. I then decided to move to Europe and work for one of the world’s leading yacht owners as the First Officer and Purser. Traveling the Mediterranean, as First Officer on this super yacht expanded my knowledge and understanding of these large yachts and their many tenders. After this amazing opportunity, I then decided I would combine my love of the water and my yacht knowledge to connect potential owners with the yacht of their dreams. I work out of my office at The Montauk Yacht Club during the summers and then out of the Palm Beach FL office for the winters.My professionalism and genuine passion of the yachting industry allows me to pursue my personal dreams, while helping people build their own dreams on their very own yachts.
