About Joseph Lee

I've always been captivated by technology. Growing up in a family with limited financial means, we rarely had the latest tech. However, I treasured every piece of technology we did manage to obtain, dedicating myself to understanding and repairing it when necessary. This included everything from fixing a family Xbox passed down from my cousins, to restoring broken phones purchased from local pawn shops. This early resourcefulness fueled my ongoing passion for exploring various technological fields, including software engineering. At 18, I enlisted in the Marine Corps and served for four years as a machine gunner in the infantry, with deployments to Afghanistan, Yemen, and Japan. Initially responsible for operating machine gun systems, I advanced to a Non-Commissioned Officer role, leading both machine gun and combined anti-armor teams. My leadership extended across a range of missions, from conducting static security operations to overseeing live-fire training exercises. These responsibilities sharpened my leadership abilities and reinforced my commitment to teamwork and operational excellence.Looking ahead, I aim not just to excel as a software engineer but also to be a multifaceted asset to my future teams. I am committed to motivating, teaching, mentoring, and exceeding job deliverables. My rapid learning ability and expertise in new technologies drive me to meet and surpass performance standards. I have realized the value of teamwork and mentorship through my diverse experiences and aspire to become a subject matter expert and an inspiring figure within my community.I am seeking a position as a full-stack developer or front-end developer. I am eager for opportunities that will challenge me, enabling continuous growth and allowing me to elevate my skills to new heights.Languages- Javascript- Java - Python- HTML - CSSFrameworks/ Libraries- React.js- Django- FlaskDatabases- AWS dynamo db- Mongo DbTools- Xcode- Node.js- Git - Git hub- Vs Code Cloud Tools/Computing Platforms - AWS Amplify- AWS Lambda- AWS IOT Services - AWS EC2- AWS CDK
