About Joseph Long

This format lends itself to a resume but I did not want to just copy my resume here. So in the first paragraph, I have given a quick summary of what I thought of each job. Mr. Long has more than twenty-five years experience as a technical engineering consultant with various Department of Defense projects. He is currently supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in the Hard Target Research and Analysis Center (HTRAC). He has also provided technical support to three Navy projects: Tomahawk Cruise Missile, Rolling Airframe Missile, and Trident submarines. Throughout his career, Mr. Long has developed proficiency in requirements definition and design, customer interface, technical analysis, system integration, software auditing, project scheduling, process development/implementation and management support. He has been involved in the development and implementation of the hardware and software lifecycle and configuration management programs. He has also managed personnel in support of the DTRA HTRAC. Specialties: Systems Engineering and Software Engineering did not exist when I went to school but I have spent more than 20 years with these job titles.
