About Joseph Materasso

I have been in the support and operations arena for the last 20 years and love the experience and knowledge I have gained along the way. I have been a Technical Support Specialist, Field Support Specialist, Application Support Specialist, a team lead of the Product Support Team and most recently, a Partnership and Product Operations Manager. I also project manage and product own our new feature and software releases. Wearing several different hats keeps me busy, but I find it challenging, rewarding and I love it. My current position allows me to collaborate with many individuals across the organization, since I’m focused on driving our product forward and always monitoring our day to day operations to make sure we are running like a well-oiled machine. I like working, meeting and negotiating with our retail partners in order to strengthen our relationships. I'm constantly interested in knowing how we can serve our partners and help with their business needs. I work closely with our business directors to understand their needs and then take the requirements to IT and product own/project manage until the feature is commercialized. I find that my technical aptitude allows me to help provide the solutions in certain cases and makes it easier to product own and project manage our core products. I consider myself a great troubleshooter when it comes to mechanical, technical or electrical problems, which I use both professionally and personally. I take care of any computer related issues we have at home, and I’m the one responsible for fixing the cars when needed. My family appreciates the "hands on skills" that I bring to the table.
